About Petfolk
We’re a full-service veterinary practice for dogs and cats, offering everything from primary and wellness care, to sick and urgent care, dentistry and surgery. We’re passionate about providing the best care for your best friend, every time. That means world-class medicine, compassionate, Gentle-Handling-certified professionals, and a modern platform that makes it easy to book visits, access records and connect with your vet.
Gentle Handling is how we provide calm, stress-free vet care at every visit. Every member of our care team practices Gentle Handling, which means we focus on your pet’s emotional as well as physical health. We watch closely for signs of fear, stress, or anxiety, and adjust how we care to help them feel safe and supported.
Gentle Handling means identifying and avoiding the moments that cause pets the most stress. For example, you’ll go straight to the exam room, instead of waiting in a stressful lobby, and you’ll stay by your pet’s side the entire time, or as much as possible. We also use high-value treats instead of restraints, helping your dog or cat stay comfortable and relaxed during their exam, vaccine or blood draw.

We care for cats and dogs. But if you have another animal and you’re not sure where to go, we’re always happy to point you in the right direction — just contact us.
Wellness exams are like a medical checkup: the best way to keep your best friend healthy and catch problems early. We take a whole-pet approach, looking not just at physical health but also at behavior and breed-specific needs. We’ll check eyes, ears, teeth, skin, heart, lungs, muscles, mobility, and more, all while making sure your pet feels calm and cared for. We believe the best care gets ahead of pets being sick, rather than just reacting when they are. By handing you the power to make diagnostic decisions, we’re better able to assess your pet’s health and catch abnormalities early, giving us the best opportunity to slow or even prevent disease.
When your pet isn’t feeling their best, an urgent and sick exam helps us get to the root of the problem. Our vets take time to listen to your concerns, carefully check your pet’s overall health with a thorough examination, and run any tests that may be needed. We’ll explain what we find in clear, simple terms and outline your treatment options and associated costs, giving you peace of mind and helping your best friend get back to feeling better, faster.

We believe great care should also mean clear costs. You’ll always know the price of each step, from diagnostic to treatment, before we begin, with no surprise fees along the way. We focus on what we do best: providing primary and urgent care for cats and dogs. That’s why we don’t provide boarding, overnight care, grooming, or services for exotic species. If you need help with any services we don’t offer, we’re always happy to recommend trusted providers.

Booking
You can schedule or adjust an appointment through our app, online, or simply by calling or texting us at (833) 738-3655 — whichever works for you.
Absolutely! If Fido has a favorite or Mittens has a must-see, just let us know when booking via text or on the phone (not via our app!). We’ll do our best to make sure they see the familiar face that helps them feel most comfortable.
We’re not able to take walk-ins, but we do hold a few same-day spots for pets who need care quickly. While we can’t guarantee availability, you can always check open times online or by calling or texting us at (833) 738-3655.

We’re here for you seven days a week, from 8am to 6pm. Please note that hours may vary on holidays or in the event of unexpected closures, and some of our newer clinics may differ in their opening hours.
Billing and Payments
We’re always happy to support pet parents who use pet insurance. While we don’t work directly with insurance companies for payment, we’ll gladly provide everything you need to submit a claim. You’ll pay us directly for services at the time of your visit, then submit your claim to your insurance company for reimbursement. To make things easier, invoices for recent appointments are always available in the Petfolk app.
We accept all major payment providers, including Amex, VISA, MasterCard, Discover. We also provide flexible payment options including Care Credit, and Afterpay. Please note that we’re unable to accept cash or checks.
You can view and download your invoices anytime through our app. If you’d prefer, just reach out to our support team and we’ll be happy to send you a copy.
Our App and Technical Support
We designed our app to be the simplest way to access the best care for your best friend. In just a few taps, you can book or reschedule appointments, check medical records and vaccine history, and download invoices, from anywhere. If you’re a Petfolkcare Member, you can also chat with your care team 24/7.
On the login screen, tap “Forgot Password” and follow the steps to create a new one. If you’re still having trouble accessing your account, just reach out to our support team and we’ll get you back in quickly. Your username is always the same as the email you used to sign up.
